The Japan Studies working group is delighted to announce our first public talk by historian Robert Stolz, sponsored and presented by UC Berkeley’s Department of History. Robert Stolz is the author of Bad Water: Nature, Pollution, and Politics in Japan, 1870–1950 (Duke University Press 2014), and Assistant Professor of History at the University of Virginia.
